Glenalbyn, led by third-generation co-stud principals Jack and Eliza Courts, was ​originally established in Bourke, NSW, and relocated to Wellington in 2014.

Having strategically built our genetic base through acquisitions from renowned ​studs, including Yarrawonga, Pampoola, King Ranch, and Spring in 2020 we made a ​significant investment with Munnabah, purchasing Glenn Oaks Palo for an Australian ​record price of $126,000. This acquisition has strengthened our herd's genetic base, ​producing soft, sound, and easy-doing cattle that thrive in various conditions.

We bring fresh energy and modern ideas to our operation while honouring the ​legacy created by Mick, Poppy, Howard and Kate Courts. A DNA program for every ​female in our herd, demonstrates our commitment to technology-driven breeding ​decisions.

Focused on enhancing fertility, growth, and carcass quality within the well-​established Santa Gertrudis breed, we are dedicated to producing adaptable, fertile ​cattle that succeed across a wide geographic range. Valuing client feedback to help ​drive ongoing improvement, we remain committed to breeding sound, productive ​cattle that meet modern beef producers' needs.
